HAMLET HOMES FLEX SPACE ROWHOME MODEL NOW OPEN IN DAYBREAK’S SoDa ROW VILLAGE IN SOUTH JORDAN

MURRAY, UTAH (November 2, 2009) – This month Hamlet Homes’ opened the showcase model home in SoDa Row – named for the mixed-use commercial center of Daybreak, the SoDa Row Village Center (South Daybreak).   The initial offering will include only 38 Flex Space rowhomes with prices starting in the low $200’s.

Hamlet Homes has been building single family homes and townhomes in the Daybreak community since 2006.  In 2008 Kennecott Land recognized Hamlet Homes with their Outstanding Achievement and Corporate Commitment to Homeowner Satisfaction award and rated them #1 in Customer Satisfaction among the Daybreak community builders.

In a collaboration between Hamlet Homes, Kennecott Land, and Circle West Architects (based in Scottsdale, Arizona) a unique design was created that mimics portions of the commercial buildings, lending it a high-tech, cosmopolitan look while still providing exceptionally comfortable homes in which to live and work.  The most interesting aspect of these rowhomes is the flex space created on the first floor.  The first floor is designed to provide a space for a service oriented home occupation (possibly a graphic designer, writer, accountant, artist, attorney, therapist, realtor, etc.), a small retail shop or simply additional living space such as a bedroom.

Four floor plans (the Bohemian, Mosaic, Digerati, and Cosmopolitan) are available; ranging in size from 1,830 to 1,967 square feet.   These three-story homes each have a rear-entry two-car garage and customizable flex space on the first floor.    The second and third floors are reserved for private living spaces and include two or three bedrooms (some with dual masters) and up to 3.5 baths.  The main living level of each home has a private rear-facing deck and many homes also have front-facing balconies overlooking the business center.
