HAMLET HOMES SIGNS CONTRACT AT DAYBREAK
Neighborhood will feature single-family homes, townhomes and mansion-style townhomes
SOUTH JORDAN, UTAH (May 1, 2006) — Hamlet Homes has secured 117 lots at Daybreak, Kennecott Land’s planned mixed-use community located on Salt Lake’s west bench. Hamlet’s newest neighborhood in Daybreak’s second village, Eastlake, will consist of single-family homes, townhomes, and mansion-style townhomes. “Daybreak is a wonderful location for future homebuyers,” said Dave Irwin, Hamlet Homes’ vice president and director of marketing. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to develop a new neighborhood featuring exceptional homes for this beautiful and innovative master-planned community.” “Hamlet Homes brings a wealth of experience and has an excellent reputation for customer service and building attractive, quality homes,” said Ty McCutcheon, director of residential development for Kennecott Land. “We are excited to have them join the builder team at Daybreak and we look forward to welcoming their homebuyers as Daybreak residents.” Hamlet will begin taking reservations on May 1 with 37 single-family homes available in the first release. These spacious homes will be located on Topview Road in Eastlake, just northeast of the Daybreak Information Pavilion and close to Oquirrh Lake. The homes are also located near the proposed new temple site by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Hamlet’s single-family homes will range in size from 2,800 to 3,200 square feet and sell in the high $200,000s. Three floor plans – the Westhaven, Stonehaven and Seacliff, named after places in Scotland – will feature several options that will allow buyers to personalize their homes. Standard home features include three-to-four bedrooms, up to three-and-a-half baths, full-unfinished basements, granite countertops, central air conditioning, low-E windows, high-speed wiring and more. Homeowners can purchase additional upgrades including a gourmet kitchen, fireplace, cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, and upgraded lighting and bath fixtures. In addition to the home upgrades, the unfinished basement invites residents to be creative and design a unique area in their home. All Hamlet homes will be Energy Star trademarked certified.
