MURRAY, UTAH (June 27, 2006) — Murray-based Hamlet Homes received the Best of State medal for residential construction at the Utah 2006 Best of State Awards Gala held on June 24.
“We are thrilled to be recognized as the best residential builder in the state,” says Michael Brodsky, owner and chairman of Hamlet Homes. “This award represents our team’s commitment to excellence and customer service. I am grateful to our employees, sales people and trade contractors who have significantly contributed to our success.” Hamlet has been building quality, customer-oriented homes for ten years, filling a much-needed niche in the Utah housing market. In 2005, Hamlet finished a robust year by closing on 342 homes. The homebuilder continues to maintain its spot as one of the leading Utah homebuilders. The Best of State competition was created to promote higher visibility and public awareness for outstanding individuals, businesses and organizations throughout the state of Utah. Hamlet Homes was among 26 winners to receive the minted bronze Best of State medal in the Services category. The judging criteria for the awards competition focused on achievement and differentiation within the candidate’s field; innovative or creative approaches, techniques, methods or processes to achieve superior results; and the candidate’s contribution to improving the quality of life in Utah.
