HAMLET HOMES PROMOTES DAVE MARTIN TO PURCHASING MANAGER
SALT LAKE CITY (July 11, 2006) – Salt Lake City-based Hamlet Homes has promoted Dave Martin to the position of purchasing manager. Martin has been with Hamlet Homes since 2004 and previously served as homebuilding supervisor and assistant supervisor for Hamlet. As purchasing manager, Martin will handle the purchasing and estimating functions for Hamlet’s production department, including controlling the quality and cost of all homebuilding materials, negotiating price bids with trade contractors and working within building budgets. Martin has extensive experience in the homebuilding industry. Prior to working with Hamlet Homes, Martin was assistant superintendent with Village Communities LC and was in the remodel/small construction department for Beaver Builders, Inc. He is a graduate of Utah Valley State College, where he received his bachelors of science in construction management.
