HAMLET HOMES BROKE GROUND ON TOWNHOMES AT WAVERLY STATION COMMUNITY IN SOUTH SALT LAKE
The model homes include two, distinctive floor plans with prices starting in the high $180
SALT LAKE CITY (December 11, 2006) — Hamlet Homes broke ground on the first two buildings at Waverly Station, which include its two model townhomes—the Dunbar and Falkirk. This community is a new transit-oriented neighborhood located in South Salt Lake City near TRAX between 3700 and 3900 South on West Temple. Representing a major new residential community for South Salt Lake, Waverly Station’s first of three phases will consist of 41 townhomes. When completed, the community is proposed to include 109 townhomes and 47 condominium flats. Future expansion is being explored.
The distinctive, three-story townhomes are available for sale, starting in the high $180’s and will feature two or three bedrooms with 1,600 and 1,800 square feet of living space. Each home’s exterior will consist of a well-landscaped patio opening onto a central promenade in the front of the home and an urban-designed, two-car garage in the rear. The model townhomes are slated for completion by end of January. “Waverly Station will be an attractive and convenient transit-oriented community in South Salt Lake,” says David Irwin, vice president and director of sales and marketing at Hamlet Homes. “These beautifully designed and spacious townhomes, combined with the proximity to TRAX and I-15, make this an ideal community for a wide variety of homebuyers.” Phase I townhomes are expected to be completed by April 2007. Phases II and III scheduled for development in spring 2007 and will include additional townhomes and proposed condominium units with two- or three-bedroom homes ranging in size from 900 to 1,400 square feet, as well as approximately 14,000 square feet of office/retail space included in the condo project. UTOPIA Community MetroNetTM (Utah Telecommunication Open Infrastructure Agency) will be available in every Hamlet home at Waverly Station to provide residents with high-speed fiber optic technology with Internet and video services by MSTAR. Homeowners also will have the ability to add advanced voice capabilities through this state-of-the-art amenity.
