Hamlet Homes adds Sunni Richardson and Andrew Martineau to Production Team
Hamlet Homes adds two new team members to its already great production team. Sunni Richardson joins the team as a new Purchasing Agent and Andrew Martineau joins the team as a new Draftsman. Both come from out of state with backgrounds that complement the Hamlet culture. With Hamlet Homes most successful years since the economic downturn, and lots of growth on the horizon, the team is being built up to accommodate our homebuyers needs, keep our costs low and our homebuilding time efficient for today’s demand and for years to come. “We are excited for what both Sunni and Andrew (Andy) will bring to our team. They have both jumped into their positions feet first. And although they are in positions that are not seen by our homebuyers, they know that they play a big role in helping us to deliver on our promise of a great home and a great experience to them.” says Jon Southern, Hamlet Homes VP of Construction. Sunni Richardson graduated from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo) with a degree in structural engineering. She then decided to pursue construction management as a Project Engineer and then realized that her strengths were more suited for preconstruction and estimating. She then worked as a Preconstruction Assistant for BNBuilders in San Diego, where she was born and raised, and quickly became an Estimator. Sunni has been married for just under a year to her husband, Jeff. They decided that they wanted to move somewhere more family-friendly and outdoorsy, so they chose the Salt Lake City area. They are currently enjoying renovating their very first home in Sandy while spending time with their dog Andrew (Andy) comes to us from Evanston, WY where he studied at the University of Wyoming on a scholarship to study engineering as a result of my accomplishments in drafting from high school. He recently graduated with a degree in Structural Engineering. While in school he also pursued internships with two civil engineering firms in Laramie and Cheyenne Wyoming, where he was responsible for drafting survey data, remodel specifications, as built revisions, and worked to develop design-build plan sets. He moved to Utah for the career opportunity with Hamlet Homes and be closer to friends and family.
