Hamlet Homes Hires and Promotes Great Leaders

Hamlet Homes is proud to announce additions and promotions of great leaders. Despite a global pandemic, Utah’s Economy and Housing Market is strong. Hamlet Homes has not slowed down and in order to provide a Great Customer Experience, the company has added and promoted Great People to its leadership team to make sure it can follow through on that promise. Nate Kingdon was recently promoted to Sales Manager and is now the Principal Broker for Hamlet Homes. Nate started out his New Homes career with Hamlet Homes in 2004 as a trainee. He sold 19 homes in a short period of time and was quickly promoted to a Sales Agent. He was awarded the “Rookie Sales Person of the Year” award by the Utah Home Builders Association in 2006. He rejoined our team here at Hamlet Homes nearly 3 years ago and has been with the company for 10 years! Nate has 20 years of Real Estate experience. Nate loves the process of new construction and thoroughly enjoys getting to know our customers and helping them through the process of purchasing and buying a new home. When he isn’t traveling around with his family for his daughters Competitive Cheer competitions he enjoys mountain biking, skiing and being outdoors with his family. Nate resides in Draper with his wife, 2 daughters and the family dog Oakley. Curtis Allen was promoted to Homeowner Warranty & Service Manager. Curtis started his career in building 27 years ago in California building custom homes. Later in his career he got into the film industry decorating sets for major motion pictures and television shows in Hollywood. He moved to Utah 16 years ago to slow down a bit and to raise a family with his wife. He now has 4 kids and loves to spend time at all their activities. Tyler Mudrow was brought on as the Assistant Controller. Tyler has been in the accounting finance field for just over 9 years. He worked as a staff accountant, senior accountant, and assistant controller for Major Drilling prior to coming to Hamlet Homes. Tyler graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degrees in accounting and later pursued and graduated with a master degree in business administration (MBA). He have always had a thing for numbers and likes to see how all the numbers come together to make a business run and what makes a business be successful. Away from work I enjoy anything that has to do with sports and love to compete. I especially love to golf and to play basketball and tennis. I am an avid fan of both Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady and their drive and determination.  I love spending time with my beautiful amazing wife and kids, especially my newborn perfect little princess Payslie. I love to see them happy and enjoying life in whatever they do. Sunny Richardson was recently promotion to Purchasing Manager before serving both as a Purchasing Agent and then Senior Purchasing Agent. Sunny was born and raised in San Diego and graduated from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo) with a degree in structural engineering. While she has always been an analytical person, she was more interested in the actual construction of buildings than the analysis and design of them; she was drawn to preconstruction and estimating. Sunny worked as a Project Engineer, Preconstruction Assistant, and Estimator for a couple general contractors in San Francisco and San Diego. After getting married, Sunny and her husband decided to move out of state. They settled on Utah to fulfill their goals of buying a home and living somewhere with seasons. Since they are both in the design/construction industry (her husband is a landscape architect), they love fixing up our house, making it their own, and learning about the construction process and techniques. Most weekends are spent working on home renovations, walking or hiking with our dog, and spending time with their daughter. Preston Hawkes was also promoted to Architectural Manager. Prior to joining Hamlet homes in late 2016, Preston worked for Nucor Building systems and a Detailer, Checker, and Engineering Order Processor. He detailed, checked and sent to the shop over a million tons of steel in his seven-year tenure there. Before that he worked for VCBO architects working on commercial and educational projects, including the State Capitol Remodel, and he worked for Front Gate Homes as the Cad manager for 7 years.   Preston is Architectural Manager and Creator of Happiness at Hamlet homes. Preston is the lubricating gel between sales and construction that ensures the houses are ready to build in a timely fashion. Most of the day to day work involves creation of new product and implementation of existing product into individual communities and lots.   Cedar Brannon was also recently promoted to a Homebuilding Supervisor. She has worked in the construction industry for the last 6 years. Cedar started out framing and then gradually took over as a superintendent for a semi-custom builder in St George, UT. Two years ago, she started a second job as a superintendent for a custom home builder. Between both builders she gained great friendships and knowledge of the construction industry. Last year she met my amazing husband and moved up here to be with him and then became part of the Hamlet Homes family. Cedar grew up in Las Vegas and was a dental assistant for 6 years while raising her four kids. In her free time she loves watching our daughter play volleyball, watching football with her husband, paddleboarding, hiking and eating sushi.
