Hamlet Homes is proud to support One Heart Project in a new Framing Accreditation Initiative

Hamlet Homes proud to support One Heart Project in a new Framing Training Accreditation Initiative, alongside Salt Lake Community College, Decker Lake Youth Center and The Utah Home Building Association. The Framing Training Accreditation Initiative has been established to assist youth coming out of the Decker Lake Youth Facility to gain important trade skills that will help set them up for success as they enter the workforce. The launch of this initiative will begin with six young men as part of the pilot program and all fees for the training will be paid for through scholarships from contributions and sponsorship money from One Heart fundraising events, community partners and Utah Home Builder Association (UHBA), Hamlet Homes. This initiative is important to help these young men transition from the Youth Center and re-enter their communities and into the workforce. The statistics of youth arrests and their circumstances as supported by the attached One Heart Project – by the numbers, are staggering and we as a group of people and organizations want to help to change the outcome, by being a part of the solution. “All of us at Hamlet Homes are excited to be a part of such an amazing program to help these young men. There is not a program like this here in Utah, and with the extreme shortage of trade workers in the Home Building industry here in Utah, this initiative is a win-win for everyone involved. I am personally looking forward to being a part of this pilot program from start to finish,” says Barry Gittleman – Hamlet Homes President/COO. We invite the media and community to support the kick-off event for the Framing Training Accreditation Initiative on Monday, October 22nd at 12:00 Noon at the Decker Lake Youth Facility. Speakers will include Utah House Speaker – Greg Hughes, Utah Attorney General – Steve Reyes, Director of Juvenile Justice Services at Decker Lake Youth Center – Trent Clements, One Heart Project Executive Director/NFL Superbowl Champion – Burgess Owen and Hamlet Homes President/UHBA Board Member – Barry Gittleman. Hamlet Homes is supporting this program through support in time, mentorship and sponsorship donations.   ABOUT HAMLET HOMES Hamlet Homes (www.hamlethomes.com) crafts quality, customer-oriented townhomes and single-family homes located in attractively designed neighborhoods in northern Utah.
