Hamlet Homes selected as Utah Business Best Companies to Work For 2020

Hamlet Homes was chosen as one of Utah Business ‘Best Companies to Work For 2020’.

This award is not an easy one to win. Each year, Utah Business conducts surveys and talks to thousands of employees in Utah to determine which are the best companies to work for. The surveys are completely anonymous, allowing for truth-telling from employees. After hearing their honest thoughts and seeing which companies stepped it up during the pandemic, Utah Business finds the best of the best companies to work for. Hamlet Homes was recognized in the Micro Companies Category along 10 others here in Utah. Micro-Companies have 1-50 employees and are doing things right. “Of all the many awards Hamlet Homes has earned over our 25 years in business, this is easily the one that I am most proud of, because it means we have an amazing culture and a great place to work. Hamlet Homes recently moved into a brand-new state-of-the-art Corporate Office in which features an open workspace, but with the right amount of privacy. Each Hamlet Team Member was able to select the colors, designs and features of their own workspaces. The office also features a “lounge” area with TV, library and a custom massage chair, a Hamlet Café that has a snack bar, stocked fridge and ongoing Team Member tournaments at the Ping-Ping Table and Foosball Table. Hamlet Team Members can also “Ring-the-Bell” in the office when GREAT things happen to acknowledge milestones and successes and can reap the rewards from Spinning the Wheel of prizes where they can win things like Gift Cards, Dinner and a Movie or even cash bonuses. In addition, every Team Member is eligible for the Net Income Bonus program. If the company meets or exceeds its net income budget in any month, every employee receives a $100 bonus. An employee who has worked at least one year for the company is eligible for 25% tuition and books reimbursement for any qualified educational expenses with a maximum of $ 3,500 per fiscal year.
