Cue the dramatic music… we’re finally here!
Welcome to Season 6 of HGTV’s #1 Hit Show – Rock the Block – and this season, it’s personal. Why? Because it’s happening right here in our backyard — Grantsville, Utah — at our very own Worthington Ranch community. And let me tell you, this has been almost a year in the making!
From the first site visit to the final drywall, this journey has been nothing short of incredible. When HGTV chose Hamlet Homes as the official builder for the season, we were thrilled — and ready to deliver something BIG. Literally. These Worthington Ranch homes sit on nearly one-acre lots, so we had to match the vibe with one of our most-loved, spacious, and versatile floorplans. Think room to grow, room to host, and yes… even room for that ADU downstairs for guests, in-laws, or maybe a little rental income magic.
Once we handed over the homes in their “vanilla shell” stage — meaning drywall done, structure set, and a blank canvas ready to go — it was showtime. The designers took it from there, and oh boy, did they show up.
Let’s Talk Kitchens (and All the Other Eye Candy)
From moody and dramatic to breezy and island-inspired, each team took the same floorplan and turned it into something totally unique. Here’s the quick scoop on each one:
Michel & Alison (Winners!)
Nature meets glam. They brought the outdoors in with deep forest greens, luxe gold finishes, and wood tones that made the whole space feel rich but approachable. That hood vent? A literal showstopper. Add in retractable doors that open to Grantsville’s killer views? Say no more — this kitchen was built to entertain and impress.
Jonathan & Jordan
The farmhouse dream team. Think creamy stone, a custom wood island, and a fireplace that makes you want to cozy up all year long. It’s warm, it’s welcoming, and it screams “host Thanksgiving here.”
Kamohai & Tristyn
Aloha vibes in Utah? Yes, please. Their kitchen and living space was a cultural celebration — blending the spirit of ohana with thoughtful design. The lanai-style serving window and bold, earthy colors made this home feel like a vacation you never want to leave.
Chelsea & Cole
Dark, dramatic, and country-cool. Their South Dakota roots came through loud and clear with moody tones, a stunning gold range hood, and the dreamiest hidden pantry. Bonus points for those epic curved patio doors opening to the backyard.
And Then There Was… The Helicopter
Because what’s Rock the Block without a little aerial drama? What started as a perfect morning quickly turned into a gusty, cloudy situation, but that pilot nailed the landing. It was wild, it was windy, and it was totally Rock the Block.
