HAMLET HOMES RECEIVED TWO SALT LAKE PARADE OF HOMES AWARDS

Awards Include Distinctive Townhome and Exceptional Builder

Salt Lake City (August 22, 2006)—Hamlet Homes received two awards at the 2006 Salt Lake Parade of Homes, including “Distinctive Townhome” for its Turnberry floor plan at Inverness Square in Murray, and “Exceptional Homebuilder.” The awards were presented to Hamlet Homes at the Parade of Homes’ V.I.P. Ceremony at SunCrest Development in Draper.

“Hamlet Homes is honored to receive these distinctive awards, both of which reflect our company’s commitment to quality design and construction,” said David Irwin, vice president and director of sales and marketing at Hamlet Homes. “Throughout our ten years of building single family homes, townhomes and condominiums, Hamlet Homes strives to continually improve its building and design processes so that we exceed our customers’ needs and expectations.”

Inverness Square is an urban community built on acreage that is part of the Murray City industrial site now being redeveloped representing the re-emergence of an urban Wasatch Front neighborhood. The three-story, 1,700-square-foot Turnberry townhome at Inverness Square is unique because it was the only home in the Salt Lake Parade of Homes located in an urban redevelopment area (RDA).

Hamlet has won multiple awards over the years in the Salt Lake Parade of Homes including the “Best Merchandising Model,” “People’s Choice Award,” “Best Family Room,” and last year’s “2005 Best Interior Designed Home from $170,000 – $189,316.”
The Parade of Homes V.I.P. Awards Ceremony was attended by executives from the Utah Home Builder’s Association, member builders, and trade and industry organizations. Awards were given to homes in various price categories for Best of Show, Best Architect and Best Interior Design. A total of 30 homes were shown during the Parade of Homes, which ran July 28 through August 12.
